What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy is based on the idea that health and healing can be achieved through holistic and bio-individual approaches to nutrition and lifestyle.
The Nutritional Therapy approach considers poor nutrition and imbalances in foundational health to be the root of many modern day health struggles. To address these health symptoms, I focus on a bio-individual approach while honoring the body’s ability to restore, regenerate and bring itself back into balance. The body is literally designed to heal itself, by itself, if given the right tools and environment to do so. My purpose is to be that person that makes someone else feel seen, heard, and validated, and guide them on the path of better health by finally getting the answers they deserve.
As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) I take a foundational, holistic approach to wellness by supporting the foundations of health, integrating the whole person, and addressing the root cause, rather than a band aid approach, for lasting wellness.
My training, education and own personal experiences allow me to assess your current diet and lifestyle, make recommendations, answer questions and help you to reach optimal wellbeing. A Nutritional Therapy Practitioner is certified by the Nutritional Therapy Association. I do not diagnose or treat disease, but instead we work together to build a solid foundation of health which combats symptoms and makes you feel your best.
I work with you to get the root cause of your symptoms by identify underlying imbalances and nutritional deficiencies. Together we will correct any imbalances by adjusting your diet, nutrient intake, and lifestyle. I focus on the root causes of digestive disorders, food sensitivities, hormone imbalances, stress, and more by balancing the body and mind to create long-term health. The role of a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner is to assist clients to re-establish health all the way down to a cellular level. Part of this is understanding the warning signs and signals our body gives us every day and connecting those signs to underlying dysfunctions. This allows you to create a plan that fulfills your bioindividual needs and a new mindset towards the way you nourish your body.

What we choose to nourish ourselves with every day lays the foundation for our energy, vitality, and well-being.
Throughout my own health journey and education, I’ve discovered that so much of our well-being is rooted in the concept of ‘Foundations.’ Just as a house needs a solid base to stand strong, our daily choices - how we think, eat, incorporate daily habits, rhythms and routines determines the strength of that foundation. A house might appear perfect, but without a stable foundation, it’s unlikely to withstand life’s inevitable storms. Similarly, our health and lives will face challenges, and it’s the strength of our foundation that determines how well we weather them. Yet so many of us cut corners regarding our health and chase the latest protocols and trends for a quick fix.
We are a society so obsessed with restricting and removing that most of us are left with constant stress coursing through our bodies. We chase shortcuts and instant gratification, thinking we can somehow trick our bodies into believing a lie. That somehow, our cells will rebuild without the foundational materials. That somehow, our nervous system will self-soothe while it is on fire. We’ve become so detached from our body, from our mind, from our soul, and we started to normalize sickness, feeling burned out, feeling drained.
Wellness is a choice. It is a choice to prioritize yourself. It is a choice to consume nutrient dense foods that love you back. To choose sleep. To move your body. To stick to routines. And it’s also a choice not to. You can choose to consume foods that deplete you, scroll endlessly, live at a low vibration, avoid sunlight, neglect movement, guzzle caffeine, skip meals and come up with excuses and sit in our limiting beliefs and wonder why you feel the way you do. We get to choose! It’s not about perfection; but rather a choice to evolve.
Your health is not a guarantee; it is a gift. We address the cracks in the foundations causing the symptoms so that we can build long term health. It is a gift to be able to learn and choose to take care of ourselves. My mission is to show you how to reach your highest potential in your health and also your life.
